Real-time Optimization for Nonlinear Model Predictive Control with Multi-core Processors

概要

Nonlinear model predictive control (NMPC) is an optimization-based control method for nonlinear systems. It is considered to be one of the most powerful and promising advanced control methods. However, its computation cost in solving the optimization problem online precludes its broader applications. With our proposed method tailored to parallel computing, the optimization problem can be solved in real-time efficiently with multi-core processors.
