映像によるe-Learning中の学習状況の観測と学習状態の推定
Visual observation and learner's attitude estimation in e-Learning

概要

E-learning breaks down the limitation of class size and barriers of time and space. However, it also brings new problems; the feedback is one of the most important problems. Teachers need an efficient way to understand how students learn-their reactions to learning materials, in order to improve e-learning performance. We focus on observing students’ nonverbal behaviors and estimating their learning states. We propose a system with a video recording device and face and posture recognition for estimating the learner’s internal states. By demonstrating them through a graphic interface, teachers can easily obtain the insight of the learner’s attitudes.
